The A400 Xtreme Plus features Beretta's exclusive Steelium Plus barrels, a first for hunting shotguns that offer the best, most evenly distributed and consistent pattern regardless of the type of ammunition used, as well as further mitigation of the felt recoil and fletching of the rods.
Drawing further inspiration from the world of competition, the new Xtreme Plus A400 barrel features a 7x7mm drop rib, intermediate front sight and fiber optic front sight to ensure better vision and target acquisition in all conditions.
Further enhancing the A400 Xtreme Plus is the addition of oversized controls (bolt release lever and oversized slide) to allow for easier handling during the coldest and wettest days, as well as to allow for easier loading and handling of the weapon under adverse conditions.
