PX4 Storm

An Exclusive Series

The lines of the new Px4 Storm are designed to enhance its power, handling, performance and reliability, always under the sign of an original and refined aesthetic.
Produced in numerous calibres, the new Px4 Storm adopts the geometric locking system with a roto-translating barrel, revised and significantly improved by Beretta and boasts contained dimensions in relation to its superior firing range. The light and resistant frame is made according to the most modern thermoplastic technology, using fiberglass reinforced technopolymer.
Modularity, ergonomics and interchangeability of parts place the Px4 Storm among the most suitable pistols for personal defense use and among the ideal weapons for law enforcement professionals.

The extensive use of fiberglass reinforced technopolymer has made it possible to develop a light and technically advanced gun and at the same time to equip it with a very modern, extremely attractive and ergonomic line. The technopolymer also offers total resistance to corrosion and guarantees color retention over time. The rounded surfaces and the absence of protrusions facilitate the insertion and extraction
of the pistol from the holster.
The trigger guard is also rounded to ensure correct positioning of the non-holding hand when shooting with two hands. In front of the trigger guard, under the barrel, a Picatinny rail (MIL Std 1913), integral with the frame itself, allows for the assembly of laser pointers, illuminators or other types of accessories.

The handle offers an ideal angle for instinctive aiming of the weapon, which allows you to automatically identify the line of fire, and is rounded and slightly recessed in the high rear part for correct positioning and effective hand protection. Both the front and the back of the handle have a scaled surface, of great aesthetic impact, which significantly improves the grip even in wet hands without being annoying.
The weapon can also be adapted to different types of hands, even small ones, thanks to a new patented system which ensures the interchangeability of backstraps of different thicknesses and configurations: in addition to the standard backstrap, a reduced (slim) backstrap is available for small and one increased (large) for large hands.

The manual safety lever is present on both sides of the slide for easier operation even by left-handed shooters. On the G model the safety lever can be replaced with a particularly flat one (Stealth) to further reduce the size of the slide.

The newly designed magazine release button can be mounted on the right side of the gun, for use by left-handed shooters. The knurled surface increases its grip. The standard button can be easily replaced with others of different sizes (Large and Combat), suitable for professional use.

The slide stop lever can be replaced with another slim lever.

The trigger mechanism of the Px4 Storm pistol has been designed as an autonomous group that can be removed from the frame without the aid of special tools. Removing the trigger group allows easy access to the firing mechanisms for accurate cleaning and extraordinary maintenance of the same. If necessary, the whole unit can also be replaced in the field by qualified personnel.

The Px4 Storm pistol adopts the rotating barrel locking system for its superior characteristics of sturdiness and longevity even with the most powerful calibres. Further improved, the system boasts extremely robust barrel locking lugs, positioned at 180° to ensure the best distribution of locking forces when firing. The reduced friction surfaces of the barrel on the breechblock and on the central block guarantee high fluidity of operation even in adverse climatic conditions and great reliability. Furthermore, the barrel has an increased external diameter at the muzzle which has the purpose of ensuring a precise and constant barrel-bolt coupling, shot after shot, with a great advantage for accuracy. By contrast,

The slide has rounded sides and no protrusions, facilitating the insertion and extraction of the pistol from the holster. The double transversal grooves (front and rear) of the slide allow a firm grip even in damp conditions, facilitating cocking and safety checks.

Thanks to the direct barrel-bolt locking system and the design of the bolt slide itself, the axis of the barrel is as close as possible to the theoretical axis of the arm holding the weapon with the obvious advantage of minimizing detection of the pistol upon firing and improve weapon realignment speed when firing in rapid succession.

The high-definition three-point aiming system boasts white references which makes them extremely visible even in the absence of light. A few moments of exposure to light, even artificial, are sufficient to ensure that the references have a long-lasting luminescence. Rear sight and front sight are removable for possible replacement with other types of sights.
